TOILET HYGIENE

Some folks don't take this serious but they'll eventually pay for it. All manner of germs could thrive in the toilet if left unattended and this will pose a health risk to those who use it be it public or private. Why must we wash our hands after using the toilet? what should our attitude be with regards to using and keeping the toilet clean?
First i must say that the fact we pass faeces and urine mostly in the toilet does not mean it should smell of such or that it should be evident, whether it' a WC or a pit latrine as is obtainable in rural areas. It's imperative that we keep our toilets clean for our sakes and that of others. How?
I's important that we flush with water after use in case of WC and if it's a pit latrine, wash off urine from the floor after use and close the pit after use with a lid. There are lots of products in the market that can help us keep our toilets clean and germ free, avail yourself of them. Toilet cleaners, detergents, bleach and disinfectants will do the trick but please when using a public toilet don't sit as you would at home, rather squat to avoid infection and by squat i don't mean squatting on the bowl because that could be quite dangerous. Wipe your bum with tissue or wipes to leave you cleaner and fresh. Wash your hands afterwards to avoid infection.
